Study

With excellent schooling conditions, educational facilities and its picturesque campus, the university boasts of the largest scale of historical architectures among those in higher educational institutes in Shanghai, listed in the list of excellent historical preserved architectures in the Municipality, which will be bound to satisfy students with retrospect and prospect.

There are many teaching buildings on Jungong campus, and two teaching buildings on Fuxing campus.  Library, computer room, language lab and classrooms are also available for foreign students.  They can make their Book Cards by Student ID.

Accommodation

Accommodation on Jungong campus:

1. Foreign Students Apartments on Jungong campus (under construction)
   Double room is equipped with bath, electric shower, color TV, telephone, air- conditioner and Internet connection. Additional facilities include kitchen, student activity room, washing-machine and refrigerator for public use.  The supermarket on campus can offer food and daily necessities.
2. Dormitory (off campus)
   RMB ￥168/day for single room
   RMB ￥188/day for standard double room
   Each room is equipped with telephone, Internet connection, color TV, bath, air- conditioner and bedclothes, etc. This hotel is 500 meters away from university.
3. Guest House on Jungong campus
   RMB ￥200/day for suite(bedroom, drawing room)
   Each room is equipped with telephone, Internet connection, color TV, bath, air- conditioner and bedclothes, etc.

Accommodation on Fuxing campus:

1. Foreign Students Apartments on Fuxing campus (to be constructed)
2. Guest House on Fuxing campus
   There are single room and double room. Each room is equipped with furniture, bath, hot water for 24 hours, telephone, air-conditioner, color TV and bedclothes, etc. RMB ￥180/day for standard double room.

Facilities:

1. International students can dine at various dining-rooms on campus.  Some Chinese and Western Restaurants are around the campus.
2. There are many supermarkets and shops with a walking distance.  It is very convenient to go shopping.
3. Many bus lines and Metro Line 8(under construction) near Jungong campus can take you to the downtown.  There are also many bus lines and Metro Line 1 near Fuxing campus. It is cheap and convenient.

Medical Care

There are school clinics on the main campus (Jungong) and Fuxing campus.  For off campus medical care, you can go to the hospital near the campus.
